Gospel Ash Gundogs

Nick and Philippa Coates run Gospel Ash Gundogs which are based in Wilton nr. Salisbury in the South of England.

Whilst we train all variety's of Gundogs we specialise in Labrador and Golden Retrievers.

Nick offers one to one training, group lessons and has dogs in for training to the owners requirements. We are quite happy to offer basic obedience right through to Training for the field, working tests and field trials.

We also offer training days for groups and clubs , and have in the past performed gundog displays all of these are by negotiation

Nick also runs our dogs in Working tests, Field Trials and works the dogs extensively picking up during the shooting season.

We have from time to time full and part trained dogs for sale and we normally have one or two litters of pups a year depending on our bitches

This dog was born 26th December 2002 by FTCH Styperson Grouse Dam was a winner of The Labrador Retriever Club Novice Field Trial

This dog has been tested by Optigen for PRA and is certified as Clear

Hip Score 2:2 and Elbows 0:0

He has won a

Novice Field Trial (Wiltshire Working Gundog Club)

All Age Field Trial (Utility Gundog Society)

He has awards in other trials this season (2007/8)

Dudley born 21st January 2005 by FTCh Wingsham Tinder of Smithsteads x FTCh Jagdens Sorrell

He is our novice field trial dog for the 2007/8 Season

He is Optigen tested clear for GPRA hips 4:3 and elbows 0:0

Baveybuilt Vinho of Gospelash (Locks)

Locks has now been retired from Field Trials and is still available for Stud

He is 9 years old and although not competing is still regularly seen in the shooting field

He has a hip score of and has an eye clear certificate up to 2006

he has been very sucessful

Custard born 3rd April 2006 by FTCh Wingsham Tinder out of Gospelash Zoe

He is well into his training having gone through the basics, had a season of selective picking up and is now being polished for next season he is Optigen clear and we are awaiting his hip and elbow scores, both the hips and elbow x rays look good
